Top Novel Spotlight: Matched

Next up is a science fiction type book: Matched by Ally Condie

 the premise: Matched takes place in a dystopian future where Officials decide where you work, even who you love. Cassia gets 'matched' up with her best friend but she also glimpses someone else on the screen and develops feelings for that other person. Now she has to decide between listening to society - all she's ever done - and risking everything for love.

why you'll love it: 

• cool, futuristic setting
• love triangle with forbidden love (oooooh)
• rebellion (though not as much in this book, I suspect there's more coming)
• controlling, sort of evil society 

recommended to fans of: This is really similar to other books like The Giver and City of Ember. That being said, even if you're not into science fiction, I think you might like this. The dilemma that Cassia has is one that anyone can relate to.
