Hands up if you are freaking out about JK Rowlings new film series based in the Harry Potter verse!

She's teaming up with Warner Bros. to create a series of films based on Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. They're not really going to be related to Harry Potter or those characters and will in fact take place in New York, but still! More Harry Potter 'verse for us! I am so excited, I can't even tell you!

Pottermore!

This weekend some of you might be seeing the latest (and last!) Harry Potter movie but the fun doesn't have to end with the films! Check out the latest from J. K. Rowling - Pottermore! As far as I can tell it will be an online community for readers to connect with fellow fans through fanfiction, forums, and the like. J. K. Rowling will also be posting unpublished snippets that never made it into the books which should be cool.

Also voting will be up for one more day and then one of our books will be kicked off the island. Or something. We will only have five remaining champions is what I'm trying to say. Usually the voting will end on a Friday but I'm not around on Friday so this week will be the exception.
