History of Nintendo

I'm proud to say that I definitely owned a NES when I was a kid, long before your time so when I stumbled across a video of the history of all Nintendo consoles, it brought me back.

Check out this 2 min video of all Nintendo products and how they've changed. The graphics in it are really sweet.

Did you know you can borrow Wii and WiiU games right here at the library? Check out what we've got here. You can borrow games for a week, just like movies.

Starting today you can place holds on games for PS3, Wii and XBox360! You can browse the whole collection here and start placing your holds today!

PS Vita

Did you guys see that Playstation is coming out with a handheld device? The PS Vita is out February 22 and I have to say it looks pretty cool. It has wi-fi so you can connect with friends to play. Check out videos of it in action at the PS website.

If you're into gaming, Central is offering gaming this coming Wednesday January 11 at 3 p.m. The gaming continues on January 25, February 8 and February 22 so mark it in your calendars. Teens only!

Gaming @ the library

In case you haven't heard, you can now borrow games from the library! That's right, you can pick up games for your Wii, XBox360 or PS3 to play at home. Click here for more info.

If you don't have a console at home, we also have gaming at the library! Red Hill is offering their monthly gaming night tomorrow at 6pm for ages 14-18 and Turner Park and Sherwood will be offerding gaming in the new year so check back for more details about that coming soon.
