If you're looking for a fun way to earn volunteer hours, come out to Saltfleet Wednesday afternoons between 3:30-5:30pm and make a scarf for Hamilton's Out of the Cold program!

It's a great way to help the community and earn a new skill. No need to register, just drop in.

Our Reading and Homework Clubs are looking for teen volunteers!

You can find the clubs hours and locations here.

If you're interested in volunteering, you just need to fill out a volunteer form and get two references to fill out a referee form. If you're interested in learning more, drop by a location when they're having the homework club and talk to the co-ordinator. They'll be happy to fill you in!

If you're in the Stoney Creek area, the Stoney Creek library also has a reading buddies program that would welcome more teen volunteers. You'll be paired up with kids to help with their reading. Call 905-643-2912 for more details.

There's not too much time left to earn volunteer hours for this school year. If you're still looking to get a few more hours, Knit for a Cause at Saltfleet.

You don't even need to bring needles or yarn, it's all provided! Call 905-662-8611 for more information. All scarves will go towards Hamilton's Out of the Cold Program. Have fun and make a difference!
