the premise: basically the whole thing sounds very secretive but what I have managed to glean is that Rigg can see the past and can actually change it and because of this, some people want to crown him and others want him dead.
why I'm dying to read it: I am a big fan of books that play with time and I haven't read some epic sf/fantasy in a little while so I'm ready to sink my teeth into this NOW.
how long I have to wait: Unfortunately I'm waiting until November 23rd for this one.
while you're waiting check out: Orson Scott Card has lots of other books worth checking out. If you're also a fan of time travel quest type stuff, check out another classic - A Wrinkle in Time or a newer book, TimeRiders by Alex Scarrow.
