Waiting on... Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is all about the books that I can't wait to get my hands on. You know the ones - the ones where you wonder why you're still 78th on the list or why it's still on order. So frustrating!

Today's book is...
Dash &Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

the premise:  Lily leaves a red moleskin full of dares on a bookstore's shelf, waiting for the right boy to come along and meet her challenge. Enter Dash. Could he be her guy? Or are they going to exchange dares forever without ever actually meeting in person?

why I'm dying to read it: first off, I love these two authors a lot. If you haven't read Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, open another tab in your browser and put it on hold. It's a lot of fun. Even if I didn't know the authors though, I love the idea of trading secrets and dares back and forth in a notebook and I love the setting - New York is one of my very favourite cities and in the hands of these two authors, it's positively magical.

how long I have to wait: A while. It's not released until October 26th.
while you're waiting check out: Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist or Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List both by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.
What are you guys waiting on?

I am waiting (very impatiently) for Linger and Crescendo. I loved both of the first books but now am craving to read more.

I think Linger's out already, I saw it in Coles today. :):):)

Yeah, Linger is out in bookstores and the library copies are waiting to be processed so they can start circulating. Hopefully it won't be too long!

I'm just going to have to wait, I don't usually buy books since I generally read them once, I only buy my favorites or any vintage books I come across. And I know I'm going to have to wait a bit for Crescendo but atleast I'm 3rd in line :)
