This book was amazing! I absolutely loved this book because it was so full of action/ adventure which is the type of genre I prefer with a little dash of history and romance. This book had everything and that's probably what made it so entertaining. Katsa's journey through the novel was exhilirating, she accomplished feats many men could only dream of and in a way she is a really good role model for young women these days. Katsa is strong and a young woman who doesnt realize her full potentional until a certain someone sets the wheels in her mind spinning, opening up doors for her and showing her that there is more to life then meets the eye.

This book was very well written. I enjoyed reading this book about a young woman who finds love even though she thought she would never. Also I found when Katsa found her true power it made her so much lighter and happier for herself. I like this book and would share it with my friends!

I didn't like this book much. I liked the idea, and the world the book was set in. But I didn't like the characters. They were over dramatic and the plot seemed to be evolving around them instead of them evolving with the plot. I found some of the situations ridiculous. There were some redeeming points such as when Kasta and Po meet for the first time in the beginning, I thought that that had been really well done. Over all though the book was disappointing.

I liked the idea of this book... everyone having graces was cool. Po was a neat character and I enjoyed how him and Katsa slowly began to like each other. The plot was pretty neat too, with a bunch of surprises that i wasn't expecting, like when Katsa returned to Po's castle. The only thing that wasn't the best about this book was the ending... I was really disappointed. It was like the whole book you waited for Katsa to be proved wrong about falling in love and getting married and Po sort of wants her to, and then it just doesn't happen. I guess it was a more realistic ending but I wish it could've been happier! Other than that, it was a pretty cool read.
