Waiting on Wednesday

Sorry I missed last week's Waiting on Wednesday. My life was a little crazy busy getting ready for Power of the Pen. This week though, I have a really cute book I'm waiting for - Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.

The premise: This book takes place in the 80s, which is cool. It's about a kind of geeky boy who likes reading comics and a new girl in town. She sits next to him on the bus, starts reading his comics over his shoulder, and a friendship is born.

why I'm dying to read it: Okay, the cover is really sweet and the premise is really sweet too. One review calls the resolution of the novel 'imperfect but believable' which sounds like something I'd like. As long as it doesn't rip my heart out.

how long I have to wait: Until March! Which isn't too bad, considering my to-read list is a gazillion titles long. I have some things I have to get through first.
