The LA Times has compiled a list of YA and middle-grade books that are being made into movies. I took a look at the list and then flailed all over my office. You guys!! Such good books! I have to admit, as a librarian, I'm happy that these books are getting the spotlight even if the movies are awful. As a fan of the books though, I hope they're awesome.
You can see the big list over at LATimes here!
Which are you most excited about?
I'm probably torn between Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Legend and Divergent. While I really really loved Scorpio Races, I'm just not sure how it will do as a movie. I couldn't get into 'Under the Never Sky' for a whole pack of reasons but I think it might make a good film. So, who knows!
(also, lol'ing over the description of Daughter of Smoke and Bone - "A tattooed, blue-haired angel falls for a winged devil in Prague." Sure, there are angels and demons but that's not what happens at all)
