The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong was our runner-up last year (Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins won) and The Calling is even more action-packed! If you haven't picked up this paranormal series, I bet you'll like it more than you're expecting to. Normally, paranormal fiction isn't really my thing but I finished The Calling in two days. I couldn't put it down!
