The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games is about a brave girl named Katniss Everdeen. Her life is hard since her father died, and now she has to provide food for her mother and little sister Primrose and to make it even worse her mother can do almost nothing. Katniss has to break the law almost everyday to hunt beyond the fence, but she has her friend Gale to help her. Then the vicious yearly Hunger Games come around but this year was different- this year her little sister Prim had one ballot in thousands. Prim gets picked and Katniss takes her place bravely and faces the other competitors to the death. This book is full of action suspense and even romance too! It's the type of book that you will always have your nose in to keep reading. This book would be recommended for 13 and over. I would rate this book 9 out of ten.
