Waiting on Wednesday

I was surprised by how much I actually liked Angel Burn by L. A. Weatherly. It certainly wasn't your typical angel book. I can't wait for the sequel, Angel Fire.

the premise: Angels are bad news in the Angel Burn world. Willow and the angel assassin Alex are trying to bring down the evil angels but they have to team up with more angel killers to do it including one that Willow finds herself undeniably attracted to (cue love triangle).

why I'm dying to read it: While the idea of a love triangle almost makes me want to cancel my hold, I really liked Willow's character and so I'm willing to try this one out. The romance between Willow and Alex in Angel Burn was also scorching (pun intended).

how long I have to wait: January! I feel like they may have pushed the release for this book back a bit because we normally don't put books on order that far in advance. Amazon also still has the audio book listed as October, 2011. Oh well! I have lots to read in the meantime.
