The Dark Divine is about a girl, Grace Divine, whose father is a pastor in a small town. Her name means "heavenly help", but she never thinks that she lives up to her name. When Daniel, her brother Jude's old best friend, shows up in town, Grace isn't exactly happy. The last time she saw him, he left unexpectedly. Now he has come back, as if nothing had happened. Although Grace grows to have feelings for Daniel, Jude is not happy at all. Grace and Daniel start a relationship anyway, but where does Daniel disappear to all the time? Grace finds out that Daniel is a werewolf, and he has come back to get Grace to help him to turn back to human and undo the curse. Only when he is in wolf form can the curse be broken, by true love. Grace must pierce Daniel in the heart with a knife in order to turn him back to human and save him from the wolf inside.

This is a great love story, that has a bit for everyone. Funny and romantic, the Dark Divine is definitely a book for teens!
