Hamilton Storytelling Circle will be sharing scary stories of the made up variety at Stoney Creek Branch on Saturday Oct 26 @ 11 am
Locke and Terryberry branches are having a Tales of Terror Writing Contest! You can submit a short scary story (200-500 words) and winners will be chosen in 3 age categories: 7-9, 10-12 and 13-14. Deadline is October 25. You can drop off your story at Locke branch or email Terryberry - pwagner@hpl.ca
Turner Park is going to teach you how to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse on Sat Oct 26 at 2pm!

Teen Poetry Wall
Choose your favourite poetry style – sonnet, haiku, ode, free
verse, poetic tweet and submit it on an 8 ½ by 11 sheet in
12 pt font before Oct.31 for the Turner Park Poetry Wall.
Knit for a Cause!
Students in grades 9-12 can knit a scarf, hat or mitts for
the “Hamilton Out of the Cold” program and earn some
volunteer hours. Materials and instruction will be provided.
