Just finished Open Road Summer and it made me think of the other books I loved with road travel in them so have an impromptu road trip list! I haven't read ALL of them but the ones I have read I loved, especially the top row. Click to request them in.

In honour of women's history month (hint: that's this month!), I'd like to share the teen titles selected by the Amelia Bloomer Project as feminist books that portray women and girls as individuals who are empowered to find their own voices. I hope these books will empower you too, whether you're male or female!

ALA Teens' Top Ten!

The American Library Association puts out a list of the top teen books every year and teens vote on it (and I think I told you about it but I can't find the blog post now so apologies if I didn't). This year over 8,000 teens voted on the top ten books of 2010!
