Waiting on Wednesday

Great news! Cress by Marissa Meyer is in the catalogue! It's no surprise that it's this week's Waiting on Wednesday.

the premise: Fairy tales retold in the future. So far we've had Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and now we have Rapunzel. It has lots of awesome in it - evil queens, cyborgs, mind control, and heroines that kick butt.

why I'm dying to read it: Sorry, did you read above? Clearly for all those reasons and also because I just love the characters and world building. I can't wait to see what Scarlet and Cinder do next!

how long do I have to wait: February! I was hoping to read it over the holidays but alas. I have to wait for a loooong time.
