I've challenged myself to read 14 romances before Valentine's Day. So far I'm only on number two, but I'm optimistic! In any case, I was looking for romances to read when I came across this one which looks wonderful:
the premise: Julia is heading to London (!!!) for her spring break literature trip but she's paired up with Jason who only wants to party. When Julia gets a crush on an English boy, Jason promises to help her win him if she writes his assignment. Opposites attract, etc. etc.
why I'm dying to read it: I'm planning my own London trip so that's definitely a bonus. I also love opposites-attract type stories and even though this one seems fairly predictable, I think it'll be swoony and fun. Plus, look at that awesome cover!
how long do I have to wait: It's out now, actually, but I'm being very patient and waiting for my library copy which is still on order. Le sigh.
while you're waiting: Pick up Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith or maybe try Falling in Love with English Boys by Melissa Jensen. Both involve Americans falling for Brits.
You can put a hold on Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill now. It should be circulating any day now.
