Waiting on Wednesday

Back to Waiting on Wednesday 2013!

I just got an e-mail from the publisher of Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes and it said this:

There are people in this world who are Nobody. No one sees them. No one notices them. They live their lives under the radar, forgotten as soon as you turn away.

That's why they make perfect assassins.

the premise: One of these Nobody (Nobodys? Nobodies?) is assigned to kill a girl, Claire, who is 16 and also a Nobody. Only, it doesn't go according to plan. The assassin (Nix) connects with Claire and together they decide to get away.

why I'm dying to read it: Jennifer Lynn Barnes is a decent writer and I love the premise of teen assassins who fall in love. This sort of reminds me of Matched. Except with assassins.

how long I have to wait: January 22! That's not too long at all! Yay!

while you're waiting for it: Check out Hush, Hush which is a similar premise of a boy (angel) who accidentally falls for the girl he's meant to destroy. For a more futuristic bend, see Delirium which again is about teens that don't want to fall in love but do, this time in a world where love is a disease.
