the premise: A Beautiful Evil is the sequel to Darkness Becomes Her, in which Ari goes searching for her past and finds out that she's actually the descendant of a mythological creature. There's a lot of cool mythological references in it and more action type scenes than I was expecting from a paranormal romance. Lots of fun!
why I'm dying to read it: I really loved the setting of Darkness Becomes Her - New Orleans - and Ari herself was a really interesting character. I want to find out what happens next!
how long I have to wait: It came out yesterday! So I'm hoping my hold comes in soon.
while you're waiting check out: the first book in the series, Darkness Becomes Her and you might also want to read Abandon by Meg Cabot which is another mythologically-inspired teen book (I think I may have liked Abandon even more!).
