Review: The Shattering by Karen Healey

The Shattering by Karen Healey

When 17 year-old Keri’s brother commits suicide, she is devastated. There was no warning or note. When her childhood friend Janna says he may have been murdered, Keri thinks she’s right. Janna’s older brother had also apparently committed suicide years ago. This leads them, and Sione, who also lost his brother in a similar manner; on a quest for answers and boy do they get them.

This was a very interesting book, especially closer to the end. I really liked it because there was detective work involved, which I find very fascinating.  There were also many secrets and even a bit of romance. The book keeps you guessing until the very end, which I really liked. In summary, it was an enjoyable book to read and if you like mystery and suspense, I think you like it as well.
