Waiting on Wednesday

Today's book I've already been waiting on for months but it's finally in the catalog so I can talk about it! I'm dying to read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith.

the premise: I'm actually just going to copy + paste the publisher's blurb because I think it's perfect: Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.

Why I'm dying to read it: I love stories where characters meet unexpectedly and just click. This sounds like my kind of book! Also, I love British main characters AND the font on the cover is to die for (I'm allowed to love a book because of its font, right?)

how long I have to wait: January 2! A perfect first-read of the year, I think.
