So imagine that you e-mail your favourite writer and tell them how much you admire them and then they turn around and e-mail you and ask you to collaborate with them on a book. Can you imagine? That's so crazy!
This isn't just me daydreaming about collaborating with my favourite author - this actually happened! Thirteen year old Ross Workman e-mailed Walter Dean Myers and they wrote a book together! The resulting book is called
Kick and is "a novel about a star soccer striker who's about to end up in juvie unless a cop assigned as his mentor can help him turn things around." (according to School Library Journal)
